On March 28, 2025, sponsored by the Electrical Sub-Technical Committee of the National Automobile Standardization Technical Committee, Two industry standard seminars, "Automotive Sensor Standard System" and "Capacitive sensor for Automotive electric door Opening" and "General requirements and test Methods for Automotive position sensors", hosted by Link Huizhi Technology Co., Ltd. and "Automotive Electrical Appliances" magazine, were held in Shanghai. Industry experts from FAW, Changan, SAIC, GAC, Dongfeng, NIO, Linke Huizhi, Hella, KesIDA - Huayang and other vehicle enterprises, parts suppliers, scientific research institutes and testing institutions gathered together to discuss the latest progress of automotive sensor technology, standardization needs and future development direction.

Chen Lingling, deputy Secretary-General of the Electrical sub-technical Committee of the National Automobile Standardization Technical Committee, delivered a speech at the meeting. She pointed out that the automobile sensor, as the "sensing organ" of the automobile electronic control system, is one of the key core technologies for the development of automobile intelligence and network connectivity. With the rapid development of the automotive industry, the types and quantities of sensors continue to increase, the application field continues to expand, and the performance, reliability and safety of sensors are also put forward higher requirements. Therefore, the convening of this seminar is of great significance.

Gao Zhibiao, general manager of Link Huizhi Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the recent situation in the field of technical standards in China, which has successfully crossed the initial stage of translation and imitation, and began to actively carry out independent research and development and innovation. In the major change node of the "East research and west system" and the comprehensive rise of domestic parts, the formulation of domestic auto industry standards, especially the formulation of intelligent new parts standards, should play a leading role in the world.

Subsequently, Lin Jialiang, R&D manager of Hella Xiamen Electric Co., LTD., and Chen Mingxian, Director of Development Department of Kesida-Huayang Automotive Electric Co., LTD., respectively shared cutting-edge technologies under the theme of "Development Trend and Standardization of Automotive sensor Industry" and "Automotive Cockpit Sensor Technology - Innovation Integration Challenges and Future Trends". The development status and future trend of automotive sensor industry are deeply discussed.

At the core of the meeting, the participants systematically sorted out the draft of the existing automotive sensor standard system, and discussed the coverage of 9 categories of product standards, including the general specification for acceleration sensors, the general specification for speed sensors, and the general specification for displacement sensors. And how to optimize and build a more scientific and reasonable, advanced and applicable, open and compatible automotive sensor standard system has launched a heated discussion.

In the afternoon, the meeting discussed two draft industry standards for "capacitive sensor for automotive electric door opening" and "General requirements and test methods for automotive position sensors", optimized the content of the draft, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the development and improvement of automotive sensor standards.

This seminar provides a valuable exchange platform for experts, scholars and business representatives in the industry. Standardization work has a long way to go, and I hope that more experts, Oems, parts companies and related institutions can join this ranks, and jointly draw a clear development blueprint for the high-quality development of automotive sensors.
