Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Shanghai's Qingpu District, LIT-AUTO is a high-tech enterprise with 25 million CNY in registered capital. In Changshu Jiangsu and Baoding Hebei , LIT-AUTO has built intelligent manufacturing bases.

LIT-AUTO is deeply engaged in automotive body intelligentization, focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of body intelligent motion control system, providing sensors, controllers, actuators and mechatronic system solutions for intelligent tailgate, intelligent door&windows, intelligent seats, and its core products include foot kick sensor, electric tailgate controller, spindle drive, counterbalance spindle drive, electric towbar unit, Power operating Door Actuator w/ Controller, E-skin, door control unit, seat pneumatic and lumbar massage system, etc.

With strong technical capability, LIT has become a high-quality domestic supplier of intelligent body parts. We have successively achieved mass production with 20+ OEMs, such as NIO MOTOR, SAIC Group, Volkswagen&Audi, Geely Group，Changan Group, GAC Group, Renault Group, etc. We have also established long-term co-operation with a number of Tier 1 suppliers, such as Huayu Automotive, Yanfeng Group ,Huawei Automotive, Yaoning Group, Schaeffler AG.

Development History

2016

Founded on May 3 in Qingpu District, Shanghai, LIT-AUTO was established by Gao Zhibiao alongside over 30 core technical backbones.

2017

Obtained nomination from Russian State Automotive Research Institute.

Obtained nomination from SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle

Obtained IATF 16949 Quality Management System certification.

2018

Mass production kicked off for the first-generation capacitive kick sensor.

Certified as a National High-tech Enterprise of China.

2019

Became an appointed supplier for NIO

Completed technical finalization, test validation and serial supply of its 9-product portfolio across three core domains: tailgate domain, door & window domain and seat domain, covering relevant sensors, controllers and actuators.

2020

Closed RMB 12 million Series A financing led by Suzhou Yucheng Shanghe Investment.

Wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangsu Linked Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was established

2021

Secured RMB 20 million Series A financing from Yinlun Co., Ltd.

Qualified as designated supplier for Changan Automobile.

Acquired ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification.

2022

Completed RMB 67 million Series A+ financing backed by Zhaowei Electromechanical.

Served as a core supplier for Huawei Intelligent Body Domain, co-developing body domain control software and honored as an Excellent Huawei Partner.

Gained designated supplier accreditation by SAIC Volkswagen.

The Group’s Test Center was granted CNAS laboratory accreditation.

Won fixed-point orders from SAIC Volkswagen Audi, IM Motors, Leapmotor, Geely and Zeekr.

Wholly-owned subsidiary Hebei LIT-AUTO Technology Co., Ltd. was founded.

Secured designated supplier rights for Volkswagen Anhui, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Audi, Lynk & Co, Yanfeng International, Schaeffler BMW, Yinlun Daimler and Zhaowei GAC Toyota.

Acquired key accreditations including ISO 26262, ISO 21434 and ASPICE Level 2.

Passed laboratory certification from SAIC Volkswagen and Geely Automobile.

2025

Won fixed-point development orders from SAIC Volkswagen, SAIC Passenger Vehicle, SAIC Shangjie, IM Motors, NIO, Geely/Zeekr/Lotus, Schaeffler Chery, Yinlun Lotus and Yanfeng Li Auto.

Approved as qualified tier-one supplier by GAC Group.

Got laboratory qualification from SAIC Passenger Vehicle plus certification for pneumatic massage test equipment by Volkswagen Germany.

2026

Secured 30 million RMB equity investment from SAIC FHC

Obtained designated supplier contracts from NIO, Hongmeng Zunjie, SAIC Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, Volkswagen Anhui and Geely/Zeekr.

All nine products across the three core domains achieved domestic substitution of imported parts. Multiple industry-first innovative products entered serial production sequentially, including tailgate optical radar kick sensor, integrated controller for electric door opening actuator, seat zero-gravity adaptive control system and self-balancing controller for rear seat folding table.

The workforce has expanded from the initial 30-plus founding members to over 500 employees.
